Finally, student's deepens each student's commitment to literacy and increases the chances that the student will continue to learn anti-bullying tactics.

EDUCATORS
Our children are important to us, and so is their education. There are many roles that kids can play. Kids can bully others, they can be bullied, or they may witness bullying. When kids are involved in bullying, they often play more than one role. Sometimes kids may both be bullied and bully others or they may witness other kids being bullied. It is important to understand the multiple roles kids play in order to effectively prevent and respond to bullying. Good teachers love helping children and young adults develop intellectually and emotionally, despite diverse challenges like being bullied. Becoming a JoinOne educator you will be educating kids on how to handle all forms of bullying.

THEATRE ARTS TEAM
Being a part of JoinOne Anti-Bullying basketball team is about more than just winning. Basketball benefits you when you win, when you lose, and when you don’t even get off the bench. Basketball can improve your health and teach skills that last a lifetime. You don’t have to win every game for basketball to improve your mental health. The physical boost you receive here at JoinOne from basketball helps release endorphins in your brain, making you feel better emotionally. You may also sleep better at night, feeling more rested and alert the next day. When you’re under pressure at school, JoinOne believe that shooting hoops or practicing drills can help you focus your energy and de-stress you. Sinking the three-pointer or improving your free-throw percentage can give you a natural high. Whether you’re playing competitively in a league or just for recreation at the park, JoinOne Anti-Bullying Organization believe that basketball benefits your social life as well. You may form friendships that drift off at the close of the season or last for years. Even if you don’t become buddy-buddy with many members of your team, the skills you learn here at JoinOne dealing with the different personality types can help you in situations off the court. You may learn to better relate to difficult personalities at school, for example, being a victim of bullying. Basketball can give you more confidence in your daily life, and it can help you to accept those times you don’t win or get what you want out of life with full confidence.
JoinOne Anti-Bullying Organization has something for everyone. We are building self esteem & confidence, one child at a time, with our theatre team. Our theatre classes allow each child to spread their wings at their own pace in a positive, caring environment. WHY ME?, the play was written by Artist TEEBO and Kimberlyn Henry. This play is about relational, school, verbal, and cyber bullying. WHY ME? begins in an intermediate school called EdMayo Intermediate. Julie Gives, a young teen is a victim of a bet by two young boys named Umi and Josh. This play is very powerful and much of what happens in this play is happening all over the world today in our schools. ARTIST TEEBO and his Team is working to get the word out in hope to Stop Bullying one school at a time.
Many of our programs, including classes was held at the Armadillo Market Place until recently due to demolitin of the building. Please contact us for class schedule. We do not generate any revenue and rely solely on contributions.
